Inpatient Psychiatrist
Location: [Insert Location]
Facility: Free-Standing 70-Bed Psychiatric Hospital
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: None
Patient Volume: 12–15 patients/day | Avg. 2–3 admissions/week
Rounding: Assigned Patients Only
Patient Population: Adults with Serious Mental Illness (primarily psychotic disorders)
EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry

Active WA Medical License (or ability to obtain)

Experience in Inpatient Psychiatry Required

Familiarity with Long-Acting Injectables and Clozapine Preferred

Clean malpractice history (for temp privileges)

Credentialing: 60–90 days (temp privileges available)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced psychiatrist to join our inpatient team at a dedicated psychiatric hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating patients with severe mental illnesses, particularly psychotic disorders, and should be comfortable managing medications such as Clozapine and long-acting injectables.
