Home Health - Assessment only role in Western Virginia

Job description

I am recruiting for a home health assessment position.

Normally, assessment roles come with a major drawback: providers get paid per assessment, which means when a patient cancels, that can cut directly into their income. When you work through Aya Locums, that problem disappears — we pay you hourly, so you’ll know exactly what you’re taking home at the end of every shift.

**There is NO minimum shift requirement here. You pick up any shifts that are available when and where you want!!

The areas in West Virginia that you can choose from: Parkersburg, Morgantown, Martinsburg, Huntington, Elkins, Cumberland, Charleston, Beckley


Here are the basics of the role. If it’s not a fit for you, maybe you know someone who’d be interested. Scheduling is extremely flexible, and they’re open to recent grads as well.

- Start Date: As soon as Credentialed
- Contract Length: Short-Term or Long-Term basis: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, PRN, Travel nursing, Temporary, Seasonal
- Shift Details: Flexible Schedule- Monday - Sunday (no nights/weekends required) 7a-7p

- Work Details:
• Average visits per day: 6-9 visits daily
• Department Description: Conduct pre scheduled In-home Health Evaluations for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and certain commercial plan members. These visits include a medication and medical history review and a physical evaluation performed in a health plan member’s home. APP contractors can earn a competitive wage (or supplement their current income) while managing other personal and clinical commitments. They will be provided a pre-populated, patient-specific form for each evaluation and do not prescribe medicine, order lab tests, or alter people’s current treatment regimen.

• Airfare, Hotel, and Rental Car available (depending on eligibility)
• Provider will receive $40/day for gas
Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC
• License Required: State License Required
• Education Required: Masters Required
