Job description

Fulfil has an exclusive opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum Urgent Care coverage at clinics in southern New York.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
PAY: $110/hour

About the Opportunity:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4+ shifts per month
No call required
Patient Volume: 40 visits per day
Duties: Full scope urgent care
Support Staff: Techs and Medical Assistants
Must be able to work independently
Board certification required
DEA Required
Cred Timeframe: 8 weeks
Paid travel & expenses: Highly prefer local Providers
Active NY license and willing to CT when needed
Willing to cover primarily NY (Kingston - Poughkeepsie – Fishkill)
Willing to occasionally cover CT sites (Danbury – Stamford & Fairfield)
5-10 shifts during summer season
10-15 shifts during the winter season
DEA is necessary for Rx and to work for GoHealth.

- MUST have AHA: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Open 7 days a week 8a-8p
Holidays 9a-5p usually, but they are open! Some major holiday days like Xmas/New Years could be 9a-3p
Need provider able to offer 6+ shifts a month
Prefer only paying Hotel/transportation cost
Providers need to have active NY license time of presentation
Support staff consists of Techs and Medical Assistants
There are no MDs or Nurses, so providers need to be comfortable doing full scope UC work
Providers will need to administer vaccines, but also all typical UC follow ups
They will be the only providers scheduled, so MUST be comfortable being alone
Cred 45-60 days
40 visits per day, 12 hour day, 1 provider, 3.3 per hour
When new sites launch they often run at lower volumes as adoption increases
Share transferrable ER and/or UC experience
