Urgent Care NP/PA Opportunity | Western North Carolina | Quick Credentialing

Job description

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide urgent care coverage for multiple well-established clinics in Western North Carolina, located roughly 30-40 minutes west of Asheville. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role that offers the opportunity to work autonomously with strong onsite support staff and remote medical oversight.

Details:
Locations: Multiple urgent care sites. Three total.

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Must be available to work every other weekend

Patient Volume:

Average: 40–45 patients per day

West site may see 50–60+ patients total, shared between APP and MD

Age Range: All ages (0–99)

Coverage:

Solo coverage at most sites

West site has MD onsite

Remote Medical Director support available

Support Staff & Resources:
CMA, Office Manager, Front Desk

Lab & Radiology Techs onsite

EMR: Athena

1 week of onsite training provided

Requirements:
Active NP or PA license

BLS OR ACLS & PALS

DOT certification – Required to be considered

DEA – Must be obtained by end of assignment (can start without)

Comfortable with autonomous practice in urgent care settings

Credentialing:
Expedited process – as fast as 1–2 weeks!
