Seeking CRNP or PA for Cardiac Urgent Care
Job description
Responsibilities of a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner include patient assessment, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions, care plan development, medication prescription, patient education, and maintaining accurate records. Other duties may involve risk assessment, device management, and triaging patient calls and messages.
Key skills and abilities include strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency in EHRs and medical software, commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement, and adaptability.
Qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current RN and CRNP licenses in Pennsylvania, NP certification with a cardiology focus or willingness to pursue it, and relevant experience in a cardiology setting. ACLS certification is often preferred.
