Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a full-time locums assignment in Washington covering both Urgent Care and Primary Care patients. This opportunity offers steady hours, a manageable patient load, and a supportive clinical environment.

Position Details:
• Specialty: Urgent Care & Primary Care
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length:
o Locums: 6–12 months required
o Locum-to-Perm: 3 months considered
• Schedule:
o Two-week rotation options:
- Sun–Wed (half-day Wed, 10-hr Thu/Fri, 9-hr Sat/Sun)
- Wed–Sat (half-day Wed, 10-hr Thu/Fri, 9-hr Sat/Sun)
o Average 34 hours/week
o No late nights – scheduled appointments only, no waiting room overflow

Practice Setting & Support:
• Outpatient Urgent Care & Primary Care
• Support staff: MA & office staff
• Solo coverage at most clinics; some double-staffed locations (discussed during interview)

Clinical Details:
• Patient Load: 18–22 patients/day
• Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
• Procedures: Suturing, digital blocks, vaccinations, splinting, wart/cyst/mole removal, standard urgent care procedures

Requirements:
• Education: Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies + NCCPA certification
• License: WA license preferred (will consider licensing candidates)
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS preferred
• Experience: 2+ years required (1+ year considered for perm candidates)
