Short-term Locum Family Physician Role in Charlottesville, Virginia

Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Family Medicine Physician to help with Locums coverage in Charlottesville, Virginia. Credentialing takes 1-2 weeks for this 2-month assignment and once credentialed you will be able to cover at any of the Virginia employee health clinics, PRN up to full-time. Mileage is covered for local drive-in candidates.

Family Medicine Physician Role:
• Provide Primary Care Medicine and preventative care for patients of all ages in a workplace located clinic for employees and their families. Services will also include patient health & wellness education, treatment of illness and minor workplace injuries, and ongoing chronic disease management.
• Short full-time assignment is 06/02/2025 - 07/31/2025, then PRN here and nearby
• Patient Census is generally 2-3 per hour

Requirements for this Family Medicine Physician role:
• Virginia Medical License & DEA
• BC/BE ABFM
• BLS
• 3 years’ practice experience
