Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Family Practice Physician for an outpatient community health center in Washington. This role offers the chance to provide care across the lifespan in a supportive clinic setting, with travel and lodging covered.

Position Overview
Specialty: Family Practice
Setting: Outpatient, community health center
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (2–3 weeks)
Contract Length: 3 months, with possibility to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hrs/week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Patient Population: Newborn to geriatric
Patient Volume: Up to 16 patients per day
EMR: Epic
Pay: $100+/hour

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care
Manage chronic disease, walk-in/acute visits, and preventive services
Perform basic in-office procedures (e.g., injections, IUD placement, minor wound care)
Collaborate with onsite support staff, including MAs, mental health therapists, dietitians, and pediatricians


Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active WA medical license (required)
DEA: Active WA DEA (required)
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Family Practice provider; must have recent face-to-face experience with both pediatric and adult patients within the past year
Certifications: BLS/ACLS or others as determined during credentialing
Background: Clean malpractice and background required

About the Practice
This community health center provides outpatient family medicine services to a diverse population, including migrants and refugees. Providers should have experience working with vulnerable populations or a strong interest in doing so. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
