Thoracic Surgery Intraoperative PA (Davinci exp) Needed in CA

I have a client in Los Angeles, CA who seeking an experienced PA for locum coverage starting in August. It's a pretty unique opportunity. Here are the job details.

5 8s, 645a or 9a starts. Open to part time coverage submissions
Open to locals who want to work 2 days/week, or limited coverage.

What surgical specialties will the PA cover? Thoracic surgery primarily, and any of the following service lines/cases they have experience in: ,Urology, GYN, Head and Neck, General surgery. XI robot across multiple service lines. Head and Neck uses the SP robot.

Experience Required:
-MUST HAVE DAVINCI XI ROBOT EXPERIENCE. XP Robot experience for head and neck a plus.
-Thoracic Surgery experience required, plus any one of the other service lines mentioned above. (doesn't need to have all)

Location: Provider will float between Santa Monica Monica Medical Center (does thoracic, gen surg, urology, and GYN cases) and 2) Ronald Reagan Medical Center– does all the other 4 service lines, plus Head and Neck (using the DaVinci SP robot). this Thoracic PA may be primarily at Ronald Reagan, as they do more Thoracic cases each week than Santa Monica.

Reason for opening: Typically 2 PAs at Santa Monica and 4 at Westwood. They are down one at Santa Monica and one at Westwood, due to modified work duty/leaves.

Role: First Assisting in 100% cases. No preop or post op. All intraop, assisting surgeon in the case in robotics case utilizing Davinci XI robot. Their current PAs cross between all services, but Thoracic is the major need. They would like a second PA who can do any combination of gen surg, urology, GYN, and head and neck using the SP robot.

What types of procedures or cases will the PA regularly assist with? Thoracic- thoracotomies, lung lobectomies. Gyn: hysterectomies; Urology: prostatectomies, nephrectomies
Is the PA expected to perform any procedures independently (e.g., minor cases, endoscopies)? No, will be in cases with a surgeon 100% of the time

Call: No call, PAs do not take
