Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a call-only locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking to take on consistent weekend call coverage with a long-term contract.

Position Overview:
Specialty: Urology

Location: North Carolina

Start Date: June 9, 2025

Contract Length: 6 months

Schedule: Call coverage from 5:00 PM Thursday to 7:00 AM Monday

Setting: Hospital

Hospital Size: 395 beds

Trauma Level: Not a Level I or II, but includes four trauma-ready rooms in the ED

Job Details:
Type of Coverage: Weekend call only

Support Staff: Provided

EMR: [System in use – to be confirmed]

Patient Population: Adult

Procedures/Skills: General Urology – scope to be defined based on candidate skillset

Requirements:
Board Certification in Urology – required

Active North Carolina Medical License – required

DEA License – required

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)

Credentialing Timeframe: 45–60 days
