Vascular Surgery NP in NW Oregon | Inpatient/OR Support | 12–24 Hour Shifts

Job description

An acute care facility in Oregon is seeking a locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with vascular surgery inpatient and OR support this summer and fall. This opportunity includes a mix of 12-hour day shifts with optional 24-hour shifts based on availability and provider interest.

Position Overview:
• Start Date: July 21, 2025
• Shifts Available:
• Day: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Option for 24-hour coverage (day + night) if openings align

Coverage Gaps:
• July 21–24
• August 4–7
• September 1–4
Schedule Flexibility: Candidates should be open to non-consecutive shifts; 4–7 shifts in a row may be offered but not guaranteed

• Setting: Inpatient only (no clinic responsibilities)
• Duties: On-call coverage with OR assistance as needed; no rounding or admissions
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Active and unrestricted state license (Oregon)
• EPIC proficiency required
• Prior vascular surgery experience preferred

This role is ideal for an experienced vascular surgery NP who can provide flexible, on-call support in a hospital setting and is comfortable assisting in the OR. Temporary credentialing may be available for qualified candidates with a clean file.
