A leading healthcare system in the Charleston, WV area is seeking a Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their clinic in the Vascular Surgery department. This is a locum tenens position offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no call, no nights, and no weekends, making it an excellent fit for APPs seeking a healthy work-life balance in a dynamic surgical specialty.

Position Highlights:
• Start Date: July 2025 (ASAP based on credentialing)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional stay until 5:00 PM PRN)
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Setting: Outpatient Vascular Surgery Clinics
• Locations: Will float between several clinics within the Charleston area
• No call, no nights, no weekends

Scope of Practice:
You’ll work closely with vascular surgeons and clinic staff to support patients with a range of vascular conditions including:
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
• Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
• Carotid Artery Stenosis/Stroke
• Renal Artery Stenosis and Hypertension
• Mesenteric and Subclavian Artery Stenosis
• Dialysis Access Complications
• Chronic Venous Insufficiency/Varicose Veins
Bonus skill: Ability to remove tunneled catheters is appreciated, though not required.

Ideal Candidate:
• Board-Certified NP or PA with experience in a surgical or vascular setting
• Holds an active West Virginia license (required)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and comfortable floating between locations
